Life is a journey,

A path set out for man,

It is one we all must travel,

To fulfill our Earthly span.

Some choose to go this path alone,

And others with a mate,

And all the time, though unbeknown,

We're all walking on Fate.

The path has many branches,

And we must choose which ones to take,

Though we are blind to what's to come,

For we all travel half awake.

And though we can't know what will be,

Nor what will lie in wait,

By time's great end, we all shall see,

We're all walking on Fate.

When the journey's over,

When we've gone through all the fear,

We can all see what we have done,

The path we took to bring us here.

We see the parts we filled with love,

The places marked with hate.

And when we see it from above,

We'll see we walked on Fate.
