THE POWER OF FIRE

Fire! Fire! Fire far and wide,
You can see me as you take a ride;
I burn the land and pollute the air
And that’s what you get when you don’t care.

I am here to serve you any time,
To cook your food or do arson crime;
I can burn the living and the dead
Use me when you want to go ahead.

You know I do harm as well as good,
So use me to hunt or how you should,
To smoke out the evil and bless your place,
Or send a signal when out of trace.

Take heed when you use me to have fun,
Or else you may have to leave and run;
I am quick to be out of control,
So don’t be the one left to console.
