Dancing, by Frank Tavares

Floating from side to side,

falling like a white feather from the sky.

Looking for answers,

while rocking back and forth

to the sway of comforting music.

Falling like a white feather from the sky,

holding you in my arms

like it’s my last grasp to a dream long left to rust.

Looking for answers,

while rocking back and forth.

Looking for answers,

as I shut my eyes, falling back into my head.

Realizing the answer is inside me,

While rocking back and forth

to the sway of comforting music.

While rocking back and forth,

shuffling side to side,

wanting this to never end.

to the sway of comforting music,

falling like a white feather from the sky.

To the sway of comforting music,

I bury my heart in desire.

I let go of my mind, being and feeling,

Looking for answers,

while rocking back and forth.
