The ghosts of the past haunting me,
My past, present and future rolled into one,
They stand with me looming down on my life,
Never letting me go,
Running from my demons,
If I keep running they won’t find me,
Every second of my life I’m tortured by it,
As I lie down on the bed the weight of it suffocates me,
The ghosts and my demons won’t let me rest,
I’ve got to keep running,
Running from it all, demons, ghosts, you, everything,
The pain from it all is unbearable,
The pain I feel every day for you,
Pressing down on my chest,
The weight of it all.
