NOT EVEN IN THE DAYLIGHT

THERE HE STOOD

JUST LOOKING AT THE BLOOD

HE KNEW HE WAS THE CAUSE

AND HE HOPED NO ONE SAW

THE YOUNG GIRL WHO LAY ON THE GROUND

HE HOPED SHE WOULD NEVER BE FOUND

LIKE THE LAST GIRL IN ANOTHER TOWN

SHE DIDN'T DESERVE A DEATH SENTENCE

BUT THE FEELING WAS SO INTENSE

HE KNEW HE MUST LEAVE

BEFORE SOMEONE SEES

AND THAT NIGHT

WITH HIS EYES SHUT TIGHT

HIS VICTIMS CAME TO HAUNT HIM

AND THEY HAD THE RIGHT

THEY WOULD NEVER LET HIM REST

NOT EVEN IN THE DAYLIGHT

BUT HE WOULD DO HIS BEST

TO IGNORE THE SCREAMS IN HIS HEAD

BUT HE KNEW THEY WERE DEAD

FOR IT WAS HE THAT DRAGGED THEM OUT OF THEIR BEDS

AND SENT THEM TO HEAVEN OR HELL

WHICH EVER WAY THEIR LIVES LED
