injustice, the wrongly accused

Have you ever wondered how they feel

I know the pain they feel is real

Have you ever been accused of a crime

And you know the accuser was out of line

Don't they know you just didn't have the time

To commit this crime

The verdict read Guilty

In the first degree

But that just can't be

I wasn't there can't they see

Why won't they believe me

That witness didn't see me

How can he say Forever and a day

For a crime I didn't do anyway

What can I say

What can I do

What would you do

What could you do

Don't think it's not true

Just stay tuned and you will see

Every now and then

They have to let someone out

To be free again

I can't imagine the look on the face

Of the ones who shouldn't have been there

In the first place
