AN ANSWER TO ANGELLYN'S CHALLENGE
WHAT IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES

WHAT IF TOMORROW NEVER CAME

WHY DO YOU ACT LIKE LIFE IS JUST A GAME

IT WOULD DRIVE ME INSANE

I COULDN'T STAND THE PAIN

IT WOULD PUT ON MY BRAIN

NO ONE WILL REMEMBER MY NAME

EXCEPT FOR A FEW, THEIR TEARS WOULD FALL LIKE RAIN

THEY ARE THE ONES WITH MY LAST NAME

I KNOW IT IS ASHAME

I AM THE ONLY ONE TO BLAME

NOW I'M THROUGH PLAYING YOUR GAME

I DON'T HAVE TIME TO MAKE MYSELF A NAME

BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT

AND THE ONES I LOVE BEGIN TO POUT

I WANT TO LEAVE THIS WORLD WITH A SHOUT

THEY MUST NOT KNOW

SO I WILL NOT LET IT SHOW

THERE SHOULD BE NO TEARS SHED

BEFORE I'M DEAD

NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT I DON'T THINK THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED

IF THIS WAS MY LAST DAY HOW WOULD I SPEND IT

I THINK IT DEPENDS ON HOW I WOULD KNOW IT WAS MY LAST DAY

IF I HAD THAT WARNING IT WOULD MEAN SO MUCH TO ME

I FEAR THAT DEATH WILL TAKE ME BY SUPRISE

LIKE A BOLT OUT OF THE BLUE IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

I WOULD SURELY LOVE TO SPEND MY LAST DAY

WITH MY EX-WIFE AND KIDS AND GRANDKIDS!!
