my first poem on this sight. think of it as you will cause i dont really care if you hate it or not.

Shadows dance upon my walls,
Reaching out with thorn-sharp claws.

Shadows dance here and there,
They seem to come from everywhere.

Creeping and crawling through the dark,
The shadows laugh like scratchy bark.

My heart beat pounds,
Shadows gather all around.

They tease and poke,
And make cruel jokes.

They are gone at dawns first light,
But the shadows return every night.

i used to be afraid of the dark, but now i love it. I'm a night creature now that i faced my fears. maybe its not actually the dark you're afraid of, but the things that hide within the dark? that's what i found i was really afraid of, not the dark itself.
