This is a sensation
Of comfort and freedom
Wearing something I love
Could not live without them.

Wear them all day long
That is, if I could
But they need to last
I’d hope that they would.

These are my blue jeans
I cherish so dearly
You may look at me funny
You may think I’m silly.

Thank goodness their mine
Don’t ask to borrow
Sealed with my touch
Think I’ll wear them tomorrow.

They’ve been many places
Near and far
Tethered and worn
Just like an old car.

When I slip them on
I’m ready to go
Shopping or driving
You’ll see me and know.

That I have my blue jeans
That fit me just right
Loosely against my legs
And never too tight.
