 Valentine's Day (Original name)

I could not let this day go by,

Without telling him I care,

Now I want to make him happy

Every minute that we share.

Today I can drop my inhibitions,

Tell him exactly how I feel,

As in all romantic fictions,

Everything seems so unreal.

My thoughts are filled with him,

Every waking moment and hour,

Just one glance makes my head swim,

I hope these feelings never sour.

But this day is but once a year,

And the love that today I declare,

The whispered words I long to hear,

Will never be said between us pair.
