Grasping at memories long forgotten

fragments of time

pieces of happiness

Relived day after day

Reminding of the glad sadness

of a life once lived

ancient in ruins

Like a flame lit by thy radiance

Tamed by thy voice

Commanded by thy eyes

Shall I dare confess my love to thee?
