Something about love.

The stars face when they looks upon you:
Your eyes of earth & calm,
Your delicate, slender body of every kind of desire,
Your unpredictable bed of hair flowing around your face -
Like a storm overshadowing all that should be -
& your stare of guard & caution.

It all seems to soften in another aim.

The stars shine brighter & spread their dust,
Your hair settles & your pace quickens,
Your heartbeat the only indication of a passing moment.

& as your body leaps forward,
Your eyes grow intense.
& as our lips meet,
Our eyes bow in respect.

The feeling of your body onto mine,
Like I've been naked until you wrapped me in your arms,
But there is no time to ponder as the storm once again
sets in.

& if we are to part by lip,
or eyes,
or body,
or presence,
then never to part by heart,
nor soul,
nor life,
nor death.
