I stand on the rugged rocks before You

My body and soul bruised and torn

I have no hope left without You

I pushed You away and fell

How many times have I said

that I'm broken inside

I cannot fix myself

I cannot right the wrongs

My open wounds stare You in the face

My blood flowing mixing with my tears

My flesh has taken over

destroying my life, hurting You

I cannot say sorry enough

The words will never do

I stand on the rugged rocks

ready to jump

I hear Your voice

a still, small voice

I feel the cool breeze

sweeping over me

Healing my wounds

drying my tears

Forgiving my wrongs

and helping me stay strong

I will never understand

why You love me so
