I remember when he was born, I waited impatiently for minutes and hours too and then finally, the moment was here, you were perfect and I was there.

And I thought to myself, you looked just like I imagined, a baby, an angel, a miracle.

I remember how at first you just had your eyes closed and you slept most of the time, yet I knew soon you would be full of life.

I remember your baby scent, when your mom wrapped you in a baby blanket and I carried you for the first time.

And when you first smiled at me and showed me what an amazing special baby you are, that loves attention and kisses too.

I remember how your mami dressed you like a little prince and gave you unconditional love.

And how your father talks to you as if you were a little man and tells you jokes as if you understood.

And I remember that originally he had no idea of how to take care of you, while we thought he had no interest, he was just scared and emotional, and could not believe you were actually true.

I remember when you first swam in my pool, I know you liked it and have many other plans for you.

I am so happy you finally came into my life and now and forever you will always be my little man.
