It came up just before me
I couldn't run away
As it turned and saw me
Its bright red eyes turned grey
It glided up toward me
Looked down its nose in glee
Reaching out towards me
There was no salvation i could see
Holding tight it dropped,
My defeated body to the ground
As i watched my lifeless form
I felt this feral demon, starting to pull down
I could feel the ground begin to soften
Watched it swallow up my feet
As i looked arround me
I gave up and felt defeat
For the first time in my life
I knew where i was headed
And for the first time in my life
My thoughts were not corrected
I took one last look arround
At the world that was so cruel
The world that always left me
Thinking it was me that was the fool
I closed my eyes and waited
For my head to sink below
It seemed to take forever
Just how long i'll never know
It went by in a flash
I felt a warmth upon my feet
By the time i felt surprised
I could see what lay beneath
A giant pit of fire
A mountain of such size
A writhing mass of bodies
Among which i won't reside
The demon kept a hold
With an unrelenting grip
Carrying me forward
To the unfathomable pit
As we traveled forward
The mountain grew in size
Before i could comprehend it
We were traveling inside
Enveloped in darkness
The demon dropped my soul
Whatever lay below me
No one could have told
It could have been forever
It could have been a day
All i know, is i was falling
So very far away
I felt a force take hold
Guiding me along my way
I could not but follow
It seemed the only way
I saw a silhouette
Lit from the screams behind
I could see its evil eyes
Bright enough to blind
To my right, a sudden movement
It barely caught my eye
A flash of light so sudden
Towards me it did fly
Before i flinched
I felt it strike
I felt it pierce
Screamed into the night
Never ending, always there
An endless pain and so much fear
No escape but always aware
I couldn't take it, i let out one tear
At that moment, the pain did cease
I saw a light beneath my feet
I felt my suffering decrease
But what had happened, to the beast?
In a flash i was back home
With my memories
Just me alone.
