Neurons like lighting in my brain strike up conversation (filled with pain)
Walk a whole mile in Your shoes melted tar stuck and me on the pavement
cant moveWhy do I always dance around You?my wilting flowers
on the windowsil soak up sunlight like You soak up energy and when I'm
helpless curled up on the floor lying dazed You stare down at me relentless
wont go away cause
You're damned if You do
and
I'm damned if You don't
stationed outside with an ashtray armed with nothing but smoke and words
its not the cigarettes giving me cancer today.
