I was about to set my phone down when it rang. The number was private so I answered it, expecting it to be either the idiot Rc or the idiot Jensen. Probably the first one.
“Hello?”
Nothing
“Hello? Who is this?”
Static, then the sound of someone on the other end breathing. Not the retarded breathing that you’d do when you’re messing with someone. The sound of someone holding the phone to their ear, waiting for you to say something but you don’t and you can hear them breathing. That breathing. And it scared me.
“I know you’re there, who is this?”
“Don’t stick your nose into something that’s not your business.” The voice growled.
Click. He hung up.
“What the freak?” I said, starring at the phone. I shrugged my shoulders, thinking it was just a retarded prank, then tossed my phone on my bed.
