Live each day to its fullest
'Cause you'll never get it back
Every moment you feel, but fail to act
Is a moment lost, forever wasted

You can't wait 'till your Senior year
To say what you need to say
One year goes by, and so goes that person
Every year after that is a regret

And that's how I feel about you
I had a chance and now it's gone
And my chance may not have even been real
But I blew it nevertheless

Even if you're here Senior year
You still won't be looking my way
For I'll always be the girl who's a friend
'Cause I said nothing Freshman year
