There was a time
When the world feared the Lord
What he would do to us all
Come judgement day
But all that worry
Has become "who cares"
The Lord's respect
Has slipped away
There will be a sign
One which no one can deny
Everyone will know that the
World is saying "good-bye"
The Lord will stand on the mountaintop
Shouting someone's sins
But you won't be sitting there full of pride
With a wicked-looking grin
For if on Earth you've lived your life
Calling "sinner!" and "holy me!"
Because you sin too, you've put God last
Last in God's line, YOU will be.
After waiting for eternity
God calls you by name
He calls out all your sins
But do you accept the blame?
Will you fall to the fiery depths?
Or hear angels' harps and bells?
Come judgement day, where will you go?
To Heaven or to Hell?

I have to say, as I was reading this Where will You Go? It made me think about some of my family members. I know where I would go. But I am not sure about them. I think we as bron agian chirstians need to speared the gospel of Christ. Because we will be judged and on that day it will be either Heaven or Hell. I chose Heaven.
I would marek this an Six put there is not a spot for it. Great job.
i dare not say where i should go for i have sinned.
all i know is that i'm the one who made all my life's choices and i pray that his wreath be mighty and his mercy be graceful on that day.
i have been trying to go onthe straight and narrow for a year now and believe me it's not an easy task, it seems like doing that has brought more weight onto my shoulders and your poem just revitalised my will to continue on this path.
may God shower the world with all his blessings.
powerful poem.
Top notch writing. However, there should be compassion to understand that those who choose to ignore his call should be shown mercy from the rest of us and educated through the proper channels of inner reflection with God and not bashed with in the public. Overall this is a great poem. thanks for the read.
Tue, April 22nd, 2008 10:11pmIm so glad I come across your poem.
Its good to know that there is others
here in booksie, that enjoy the same
reading I do.Your poem is powerful,
thats the way I like.Truthful and to
the point.Truth is,most people are`nt
ready to except the fact that judgement
day is right around the corner. But it is,
im a christian, and proud of it.I dont think
anyone will ever be ready for judgement day.
I ask the Lords forgiveness every single day,
because I am flesh, and in the world. With that
being, I am constantly fighting sin.Face it we all
sin.But its the forgiveness we ask God for every day,
that makes us one of his children, and the winning
over of souls. Speading his word, and following his
commandments. That is what prepares us for judgement
day.Wow!I could go on and on.Great job! I gave your poem an I like it,But truthfully I loved it.
God bless you...[angellynn]

Mr Benn
This reminds me of being a 5 year old in primary school and being told that if I sinned I would burn in hell. Is it any wonder I'm an Atheist? Still, I respect your beliefs and you have portrayed them powerfully here.

I suppose it's nice to know that you got something out of this poem, despite your lack of belief in Christianity.
