You call it your own
When really you don’t know.
You say it’s so patriotic
When really it’s psychotic.
Do you know where that little pony came from?
Do you know what she’s been through?
Chased by a helicopter
Miles away from home.
Into cold corrals with horses twice her size.
Screaming and stamping
Nearly trampled her to death.
But still she survived
A true soldier.
Her mother and father died,
Her sister and brother did not survive.
They were trampled to dust,
Right before her innocent eyes.
She’s scared and alone,
So they get rid of her.
Sell her to families unknown.
Will she be loved,
Or sold as meat?
They don’t care,
As long as their given a monetary treat.
You call it your own
When really you don’t know.
You say it’s so patriotic
When really it’s psychotic.
So get off of your lazy bum,
And spread the cause.
Save the Mustangs,
Save the Horse of America.
