I see you have finally opened your eyes.  Now you are wondering if this is a dream or not?  What is my name you ask dear child?  Oh, some people call me "The Sandman", but I have no real name.  I am just a messenger of horrors and twister of sanity...you could say I have my own little shop of horrors.  You don't believe me?  Ah, you kids never do.  Child, I know what keeps you from sleeping at night; I know what makes you toss and turn.  What wakes you up in a sweat, looking around frantically seeing if the Boogeyman chased you out of your dreams?
You hear those loud footsteps in hallway?  I can tell because you won't look away from the bedroom door.  Judging by your face you can smell the mummy outside the door.  The very mummy from the scary movie mom told you NOT to watch because it would give you nightmares.  You did not listen, so for the past two nights I've been paying you a visit.  In slumber you try to get away from it running down the endless hallway.  You look behind you and see its rotting flesh, the bandages tearing away, the smell of thousands of years.  No matter what it always catches you...Don't be so to afraid yet, I have more of what you fear most yet to come alive.  No use crying, because it will make it only worse for you.  I want to shred your mind and make you scream.  I want to see your fear!!! I want to smell it, lick it, feel it, make it free...reality is my playground.  No use shutting your eyes because they come from deep within.
Demon dolls and puppets begin to play and dance around your bed as you hear unseen children laughing.  Look!!!See those green eyes and sharp teeth in the closet that seem to grin at you?The monster in your closet wonders what you taste like.  Ah, ah, don't hang your feet over the end of the bed sweetie because the scary man under the bed will cut off each toe one by one at any chance he gets.  Never take a dare from your friends anymore, it may prove fatal.  Say the name of Bloody Mary in front of the bathroom mirror, and then she will crash through it to scratch out your eyes and rape your soul.  Oh, I smell popcorn and hear crowds cheering...Jumping and cart wheeling out of the closet with fluffy orange hair and polka-dotted suits....clowns.  What’s the matter, don't you like clowns?  How about a balloon, so many colors?  Just don't forget, like Pennywise says, "They all float, and you'll float too."  I see you now looking up to the attic, you hear it too?  The scratching and thuds from up above.  It could be the little boy forgotten years ago and died up there just like big brother tells you.  If you aren't good he might, JUST might come down, grab you from the bed and take you back to the attic with him to be forgotten as well.
I see you were about to jump from the bed and then realized what was on the floor.  Snakes, bugs, spiders and mice crawling and slithering over and around each other.  You would never DARE jump into them now would you?  Feeling them on your skin, crawling up your leg and feet.  Hey now don't jump, it was just a tap at the window.  But now as you look you see it is the walking dead.  They are forever to walk this earth, searching for something unknown and never to be found to them.  Now how about no more spooky and scary things?  How about I take it all away?  Now just leave you in the darkness, nothing more.  I can still feel your fear child...it is just darkness.  I will leave you now to slumber.  Don't ever forget, when you ever have a nightmare, it’s just me paying a visit.
....sleep tight
