THE BAKER.

Nothing special as I went through the day and nothing special at night, watched TV, nothing exciting, went to bed fell asleep and that's when I met the baker. He was happy in his work and yet I felt a sadness coming from him. He told me,"I've travelled far and wide to get the best ingredients for the special cakes that I make, not too much of this and a bit more of that and so on. Making sure the temperature was just right and that the cake was in the oven for the right length of time and when the cake comes out it will be perfect." Then I noticed the smile fade sligtly and then he told me. "Almost all the cakes would lose their perfection after a while, it's the same in every country. The cakes sometimes go soggy, or they might dry upand crumble away or theycould sink and go flat. But once in a while I make a cake and there's nothing special about it but it stays good all the time and that makes me very happy." The baker had held my interest as he talked about his cakes and as he was leaving I realised I didn't know what kind of cakes they were, I waseager to find out what cakes they were I shouted, "Excuse me mister baker, what are the cakes you are making?" He turned and with a smile said, "Human cakes."
