The moon
a mere
three hundred thousand
kilometers away.

Bends the space time
below my feet.

Twists it.

So the sea
runs
away.
Dragged into the curve of space.

Over and over
and
over again.

Water leaving sand .....
slowly
uncovering
(by forces beyond
comprehension).

The crab,
a witness. One of
many.

Carries
his balls of sand.

On reaching the flat expanse,
a decision. Where?

Where, exactly for this
particular ball?

On this day?

What pattern today, my friend?

To repeat yesterday's existence ..

or

perhaps today,

perhaps a slight
variation on the theme.

For who but I
in this vastness
will ever notice.

Yes, today. It is the day.

Water covering sand
slowly
covering again
(by forces beyond
comprehension).
