This is how I feel about the world's image of beauty... I absolutely hate it, it makes me feel like nothing.

Flipping through a magazine,
A false image of the teenage dream.
Skinny as a broom, size zero, guys swoon.
Airbrushed tans, curvy breasts, bikinis in June.
Perfect teeth all painted white,
Scorned by all, all in spite.
Glossy hair pricks like needles.
Perfume scents smell like Japanese beetles.
Craving this beauty, perfection, and grace,
Yearning to be this color of fake.
