Ecstasy

White vapor

gently brushes my face as it reaches for the stars.

Arms as warm as sunlight,

and strong as an oak tree,

wrap around me.

The black-silk heavens sing,

their silver-ice eyes glow.

Skin brushes skin,

electricity and water dance together.

Muscles tense in anticipation,

breath catches in throats.

Time stops.

The world stands still,

as two forms mold together.

Lips meet.

The black-silk heavens ripple and expand,

the silver-ice eyes shake and twinkle.

The white vapor shifts and twists,

dancing to the music.

Leaves and trees tremble, waiting.

Horses unfurl their wings and shake their manes, restlessly.

Everything screams and blazes in ecstasy.

Ecstasy.

Ecstasy!

Silky, moonlit-silver hair swirls around her shoulders,

briefly touches his cheek.

Strong, gentle hands rest against her lower back,

tentatively pulls her against him.

And again,

lips meet.

Ecstasy blows

everything apart, until its as if they’re swallowed.

Two lovers tear time apart.

Until only one thing remains:

complete and utter  bliss.

Until…

golden sunlight strangles the black-silk heavens,

and the silver-ice eyes are closed…
