Love lost is a pain indeed, and sometimes all you can do is remember the good ole days

Remember when,
back on that hill,
The warmth of our bodies
Staved off winter's chill
Remember when,
I held you with arms wrapped tight
Glowing eyes locked steadfast
Two suns shone at night
Remember when,
fields of white made our seat,
My hands were deep in mounds of frost
But all I could feel was heat
Though those days are far behind us
And it feels like they won't come again
I'll just look up at that starry sky and ask
Do you remember when?

What a beautiful poem, everything flowed together perfectly that I was fascinated the whole time. You pained such great imagery, too, which helped move the poem along perfectly. It's perfect in my eyes. Thank you for sharing.
