Memories Remain

So many days pass me by,

Not knowing what I should do,

I look up to you,

You always told me what you knew.

I want to make you proud,

I want you to see all that I can be,

You say Nothing,

Yet, it seems so clear and loud.

I want to Thank you,

For being who you were,

For making me see,

Just who I should be.

Without you nothing would be the same,

You may be gone but the memories remain,

Now all I feel is Pain,

You were the one who kept me sane.
