My heart drearily seeps painful life

Complete unwillingness to heal the cut you left

One lash from your cruel tongue was all it took

To drive the rusty nail of rejection deeper

Acid tears burn my eyes as I lay here

Cheerless desolation blowing over my open wounds

My heart, my soul, my entire being

Belonged to you could you not see?

Saturated agony sweats from every pore

Consciousness locked away in stifling silence

The longing for your love consumes me

Never in all the darkness will you ever be mine
