It's about a woman I'll never forget. Who's probably already forgotten me!

You heard my words, but never really listened. I peered into your soul and 'awe', how it glistened. So I gave you my heart and you ripped me apart! And for what? ;

It may just be a happenstance, but i miss your finger dance. The way from green to blue they go, your eyes before the tears flow.

The way you move, that knowing smile, the things you've been through and all the while. You've maintained a quiet grace, while idiots were all up in your face.

To have loved and lost, is no comfort at all. Just makes me numb and my world so small.

To have held you so close and to witness your pain. I know now my life, cannot be the same.

It now has new meaning, in stone it is set. My life with no feelings, as I'll never forget.
