I often think, when will I find,

a woman who's genuinely kind.

With no illusion and no facade,

a gentle soul who's not on guard.

With open arms and loving heart,

no disillusion, a brand new start.

To see me just for who i am,

an open book no hidden plan.

I live with a hope,

it may be misled,

i may be a fool,

naive it is said.

But without this faith,

in people and time,

there is little point,

in this life of mine.

And so to find my missing half,

would make this pain worthwhile.

For she would be my balance,

and find my missing smile.
