Magpie (cherry blossom)

Poem by: GentleWarrior

Summary

i once wrote a poem for someone, who wanted a tattoo for her birthday, about a subject 'close' to their heart. And took her to be inked, as it was her 21st.

MAGPIE (CHERRY BLOSSOM)

A magpie in a blossom tree. Is right there, looking back at me.

The tree of life A living tree, A symbol of eternity.

A life reborn, It self sustains. It never leaves, it still remains.

Rejuvenating, roots so deep. A source of comfort, You can keep.

Next to your heart, Giving peace within. It means so much more, Than ink on skin.
