The four horsemen of the apocalypse are described in Revelation chapter 6, verse 1-8. The four horsemen are symbolic descriptions of different events which will take place in the end times upon earth. Apocalyptic events are almost wholly concerned with the future; and glances at the doctrine of resurrection and the history of the world around us. The horses are White, Red, Black, and Pale. The horse's colouring takes on a different meaning, in association horse and rider, we may draw our own conclusions from the horses rather than the horsemen, but they are intrinsically connected.
Apocalypse is the illumination of the scriptures, the prophetic tapestry revealed in rich magnitude of revelation, you get the allegorical sense of spiritual simplicity, pouring out in the use of everyday language. All scripture is revealed by inspiration, and is made available for doctrine. With this understanding the scripture will explain itself as you read and examine the text imagery. This is a good book to have for information on end time events, read the complete book of Revelation and Daniel to get a better understanding.
