The Soul Cry
A woman in a valley on the outskirts of a small village bares her soul in her throat and shoulders. The woman sings a song that bares her sorrow bringing tears to her beautiful face. She kneels next to a pond and watches her reflection. She sees how the tears flow down her face like a never ending river, that swell's her beautiful eyes. Her weakness as bold and clear as the rays of the sun in the sky. She is strong and brave and sings her story. Her pains. Her hopes. Her joys and dreams. Not turning to see if there is anyone near enough to see her or hear her she sings. As she sings the world fales silent to bear witness to the woman's beauty. The woman's song undresses her with every word until she stands nude below the heavens. But this nudity is not physical -it is emotional and spiritual. Her soul-the core of who she is-her weaknesses and strengths all clear for the world to see. The heavens weep in the presence of the woman. A beauty unlike any other. It is not that she is flawless but that she accepts who she is. It is her transparency that makes her so beautiful-so ravishing-unlike any creature or sight ever seen. Then the heavens fale silent and in this silence, the woman rises made new. Like an unyealding, impenetrable fortress with such strength that it radiates all around her. The woman's cry indescribable and incomparable.  Oh, how the heavens await to hear her beauty once again.
