Perhaps it's not a poem after all... but it's been a while since I've written anything.
You can guess what this poem is about. I'd rather not burden other with my point of view: poetry (or any creative writing at all, for that matter) shouldn't be just what the writer tries to bring across.
Part of the experience is created by the reader self.

It's the time in your life when you...

Need something.

From your friends.

Or perhaps your family.

The time in your life when you're...

How do I put it...

Stupid? Selfish? Innocent?

.... crazy?

It's the period in which you learn:

learn.. by suffering:

To speak your mind.

Care for others.

The time where you learn not to hate yourself,

Because every since you have...

Alright, whatever. You probably guessed it.

To me it was hell..

And so far I believe,

Everybody suffered when they were my age.

But yet...

And all of this complaining I do...

All of this crying in my sleep.

All of these perverted emotions.

All of the depressions I have been facing.

They were never really necessary.

The answer is so simple!

All I need to recover from the injuries I have,

From being at the age I am now.

is a hug.
