The moon,

Is lonely.

Floating out there.

...

The earth,

Is busy.

So it doesn't care.

...

The sun shines on the moon,

'Look at how pretty you are'

But the moon hollowly answered,

'I'm not near as bright as a star'

...

Look, sweetie:

Don't you think that's a pretty moon?

But mommy, where

Does it go in the afternoon?

...

That moon so pretty,

Bringing twinkles to the eye...

I'm sorry that you,

Never got to shine.
