I came back from the dead, had problems in my head, in my life and even hiding beneath my bed. This is about regretting mistakes and changing my life for the better.

It’s always easy for me to make a mistake,

It’s an event people expect they will spectate

I always feel like i could drown

It’s just a matter of time before I let someone down

It never seems possible for a good outcome

The destructive me is never fun

“Supportive friends” seem to fade away

I guess I can’t blame them anyway

When you let so many down repeatedly

They assume that’s me immediately

What people neglect to see,

Is this momentous change growing inside of me

I’m growing; I’m learning to stay free

Of trouble and balancing my responsibility

It’s a first for me to feel on the rise

And for those who cut ties, accused me of lies,

Just may be surprised,

When they see I’ve grown bigger than this town

And I stay clear of the things that took me down

Never again will I shed a tear or wear a frown

Ill be standing up where I used to be

Then you’ll be coming back to say,

“What’s up? To me

Good luck waiting for my reply

All you’ll be getting from me is a wave goodbye
