\"\"You don’t know how strong a person is until they really want something.

You don’t know how strong a person is when you don’t want to give in either.

You learn to give it all.

I remember the first time I was asked.

I remember…

Pleading eyes don’t do much for a hungry man,

When he wants it…

He wants it now and he wants it all.

He doesn’t want your pleading eyes.

You get used to it.

You start to see the signs.

That firm grip on your wrist.

That isn’t pain.

That’s just a sting.

Shirt…

Something longer and harder is coming.

You start to see the signs…

Something that might break you loose.

Make you clamp your mouth shut and just give in.

Just give…

Nothing quenches thirst better than water.

You know when you’re thirsty and all you can think of that water?

You know when you’re a slave and all you can think of is freedom?

You know when you have no ears to hear you out?

Bout you got mouths to question you?

You know?

You know when you try not to remember?

You know it wasn’t you?

It wasn’t you…

No

You where just passing through.
