I guess you know you love

Someone

When you can feel for them.

When your tears

Connect with mine,

And I can feel every wet drop.

When watching you suffer

Is a knife in my stomach,

Twisting and turning

With each of your sorrows.

And I'd rather the knife

Be in my stomach

Than yours.

As I hold you.

As I hold you tighter

Than your burdens.
