This is a poem I wrote for my aunt's funeral, and it also happens to be the first of my writing that I'm posting. It's rather short, but it's pretty much self explanitory in meaning. It's a very emotional piece for me, and really important. I'd like to know what you think, so please comment. Thanks,

Although I sorely need you

To be here by my side,

Although I cannot see you,

Iknow that you're alive.

You're by my bedside when I'm sleeping,

You're in the wind, which I intake,

And though I know I'll always miss you,

In my heart, you'll forever stay.

An enjoyable piece; it's never easy to "lose a loved one" and by writing a tribute to honor it can help lessen the pain, seeing it serves as a reminder of that relationship; nicely done.
