Once, life is easy...

That Was ONCE

Life was once simple,

But humans want to explore

Living was once simple,

But humans ignore…

Happiness was once

Just around the corner,

But we tend to ask for addition

Setting our standards high,

Now happiness

Is as high as the sky…

Contentment was once

Easy to achieve,

But now it is so complicated

You can’t be satisfied easily

One must have

money to pay…

Once,

That was once…

Once love was amazing

But couples always

Fighting

Children was once

A happy being

But now one can see

Sadness and sting…

Nation was once peaceful

But they chose

To attack the harbor

Humanity was once

A God fearing nation

Who worship and adore

But they turn

To be a savage beast

Who’s ready to devour…

Once,

That was once…

Straight from the heart.....make sure all of your poetry comes from that place....You might think about taking a poetry class....just for some basics.....you clearly have the empathetic mind and soul to be a poet....Bill

I do have to agree with Bill up above me in the comment section.
You have what it takes and it's coming from the right place, the heart.
