I’m made in china,

Even though I’m designed to a fashionista.

My skin is shine and polished,

And my silky blonde hair waiting to be brushed.

I’m a Barbie doll.

I’m made to be played by girls,

My plastic necklace which are made of fake pearls.

Plastic and clueless,

Where my life are meaningless.

Well, I’m just a Barbie doll.

I’m already tired and exhausted when sun goes down,

I’ll be awake when its breaking dawn.

Time passes so quickly day by day,

A thought passes me “Is there another way?”

Afterall, I’m a Barbie doll.

Humans made toys,

For children to bring joy.

On their world, boys play with robots and balls,

While girls play with dolls,

Just like me, a Barbie doll.

Author's Note:Hey, readers. I'm nearly in tears right now that how many feedbacks I'm recieving from each one of you for this piece of my FIRST poem. I had written this in my Freshman year(grade 9), when my English teacher challenged us to write poems. And she was pretty much impressed about my work. This was my FIRST, and I probably would try more poems soon.

You, guys, just make me so happy. It's crossed 200 reads, and I don't even know how it got this popular. And that too I never thought that this poem right here, could have earned so many reads. Thank you so much, guys. I can never forget this moment.

And guys, check out the song in the beginning. It sounds really sad but at the same time, it sounds really good. Basically, that's the only song I had reffering to sadness and loneliness. It's called Holding on and Letting go-Ross Copperman.
