I can't imagine

I can't imagine

what was going on

in his young mind

as he ran for his life.

His killer wasn't a intruder,

or a stranger.

It was his mother.

I can't imagine,

what was going on,in his mind.

Asking,as he ran,

why mommy why?

I can't imagine,

what his dying words,would be.

I can't imagine,

why any mother,

wouild drown her own child.

The expression on the dying childs

face, is one his mother will never forget.
