Our pretend president stands shouting;

child fantasies fall from his mouth;

promises not meant, not possible.

Our president has all the money in the world.

Gold and silver flow from his Midas touch.

The world out there is an illusion

his small hands and large mouth cannot grasp.

He trips on a dictator, believes a madman.

Our president sees only his Pinocchio nose,

smells no rats, sees no blockades, hears no sirens.

His world is on paper and the shouting voices at his ear.

He remains untouched by all that passes.

See how he stumbles and dares gravity.
