While you were sleeping, I brushed the hair away from your face, and marveled at how fearfully and wonderfully God had made you, and I thanked him for allowing me the honor of being your Dad
While you were sleeping, I watched as you dreamed and saw the hope of future generations rise within you with every breath you breathed
While you were sleeping, I felt the evil of this world surround you, and I pushed it back with a prayer that God would always protect you and surround you with his angels
While you were sleeping I kissed your cheek and it was at that moment that I realized that this was my purpose...my passion in life....for such a time as this....to be your Dad.
