It is a poem about a poor lonely self harmer who wnant's to take her life.

Beautiful Escape
The beauty of the crimson ravines,
The flowing crimson rivers on her arms.
Nothing helped her more,
Nothing made her feel more herself.
The scars, the hundreds of scars,
Reminders of the past.
Reminders of the pain, the suffering
Oh but how they kill her now.
The pain, the suffering, the crying,
The hatred, the anger, the bloodlust.
Her life out of control
Yet controlled by the crimson rivers,
The flowing rivers of composure.
The doom, the despair,
She wants to get away
From this hell that’s her life,
She just wants to die.
This cruel, petty world
With it’s mindless, worthless whores
Has taken its toll,
So she’s decided to take her life.
She cuts her throat deeply,
Screams, collapses, squirming in pain.
She convulses a few times, then lies still,
She’s finally gotten her wish,
The only thing she ever wanted.

The one thing she needed.

The world can be cruel, but I would never commit suicide. To quote the great Billie-Joe, you can have happiness but lonliness still comforts you. The emotion in this poem is fantastic, I loved it. It is written and flows very well, Well done mate. Excellent job :P

The thing I loved most about this poem is that you described part of the feeling as bloodlust, I think that description describes how a lot of selfharmer's feel. That they lust for the blood, not in a sense that a vampire or anything of the like would lust after blood, but in the way of the feeling of relief the blood brings.
Sorry for rambling, I just thought this was an awesome poem and I wanted to let you know that you writing means a lot to me, I love the honesty and the willingness to let people see this side of yourself without fearing judgment.
Sorry again for the rambling, I just really liked this poem.
