This is about how I hide myself from the world

You talk to me I sound fine,
Look at me and there’s nothing wrong.
Well that’s what you think
If only you could lift up the veil
You would see the true me.
Ask me what’s wrong
I won’t answer you
I won’t let you see through the veil.
If you were in my world
If you were the real me
You would understand.
Yet you can’t be me
You can’t understand
And so the veil stays down.
Know me well, you still won’t know everything,
The veil is still partially there.
You may think you know everything about me but you won’t
No one does
No one ever will
Don’t look beyond the veil for the girl beneath is broken,
She’s falling to pieces,
Her life shattered.
Everything’s so splintered that
One true look will cause her to shatter,
It will cause her, me, to shatter and leave nothing
