Vampires can live forever. Some choose to survive on human blood, but at the risk of taking the life of their victim. Others choose to feed on the blood of animals. It's not enough, but it keeps them from harming the human life. Most believe that a wooden stake in the heart can kill a vampire, but anything can kill a vamp as long as it's sharp enough and smooth enough to go all the way through the heart. Also sometimes you can make wooden bullets to fit in a gun if you have one and shoot the vamp before you stake it. There are 2 different types of vampires. There's the lamia, and the made vampires. The lamia are people who are born vampires. They look and even eat human food in order to blend in with humanity. They feed on human blood, but they don't kill their victims. Made vampires are humans at first, then turned into vampires. Mostly out of love, revenge, or to just have somebody to talk to. Vampires can be deadly, but others absoultely like to be around humans to have someone to talk to. Next time you talk to someone that is extremely cold and very pale, you might want to take a stake in handy in case you get attack dring your sleep.
