This is a poem I wrote cause I was in a bit of a fictional mood. Like when I wrote my poem Ghost Of A Girl this poem is a story about a night in the woods. By the way the artwork I chose for this poem was amazing...Enjoy...THX GOTHIKAH666 T_T

A Dark Winter's Night

The cold embrace of a dark winter's night

And the moon in the sky is your only light

The air sends a shiver down your spine

As the snow falls upon the forest pine

A howl echoes out through the brush

Listen closely...shh!...hush...

Do you hear it? That faint sound...

Of something, somebody, lurking around.

You hear that howl again once more

You think you know what it is but you cant be sure

Tales of werewolves run through your head

If the tales are true your as good as dead

A crack of a branch screams behind you

And you turn to find what you were told was un-true

A man?...No wolf? You simply just cant understand...

You walk toward the beast, and hold out your hand

It growls to try to scare you from coming near

You whisper,"Shh...You have nothing to fear."

As your hand finally touches his mane

From this moment on you wont ever be the same

The beast turns and sprints away

How you wish he could have stayed...
