A Robot of Bone

Your name always gives me butterflies,

And my heart hurts with all the goodbyes,

To walk away from your beautiful face,

And find my heart to be an empty place.

Vacant it seems and frozen to the core,

And you have the key to unlock the door,

Make me feel warm and bring me to life,

With thoughts of love and my soon to be wife.

But when your gone I just feel so alone,

I feel like a robot made out of bone,

Yearning to feel what its like to feel,

And telling himself he really is real.

Then you come back around and I'm brought to salvation,

My heart feels so happy it feels like its on vacation,

I remember what its like to feel loved again,

And most of all I can call you my friend.

Your the love of my life my beautiful queen,

You leave this sweet taste in my mouth like a jelly bean,

My words will never explain the importance of you,

And I look forward to the day I can finally say I do.
