Come with me to the mountains laying down

Although some say they're just holes in the ground

These hills used to be alive,

But have now been brought to sleep

By the rivers that have flowed ever so deep

Do come look over the edge to the bottom so low

Where the spell-casting rivers still continue to flow

Putting to rest the mountain's floor

This canyon is grand, almost to grand to endure

So beautiful has God made these mountain's deep ground

So come with me to the mountains laying down
